GENERAL SCOPE:
410 is a martensitic stainless steel that is predominately used in a wide variety wellhead applications. It is a very deep hardening, heat treatable stainless steel that contains Carbon, Manganese, and Chromium as the primary hardening elements
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Under the right heat treatment conditions, 410 is suitable for use in sour and CO2 environments.

COMMONLY STOCKED STRENGTH LEVELS:
80,000 psi or 85,000 minimum yield - limited to a Rockwell C -22 maximum for compliance NACE MR-01-75/ISO 15156 (for use in hydrogen sulfide environments)
Annealed or As-rolled - no mechanical properties; suitable for further heat treatment
